Market Commentary
Soybeans Post Monday Gains -
Soybeans rallied off some early Monday steady trade, to close out the session 6 to 7 ¼ cents higher. There were another 76 deliveries reported Corn Closes Monday with Green on the Screen -Corn futures battled back from early Monday losses, as contracts closed with gains of 4 to 4 cents at the final bell. The CmdtyView national average Hog Bulls Slip-Up with Mixed Monday -Lean hog futures were mixed to close out Monday, with contracts down 87 to 30 cents higher. USDA’s national base hog report from Monday afternoon Wheat Rallies on Monday, Double Digits in Some Cases -The wheat complex saw strength on Monday, with the hard red contracts pushing higher. CBT soft red wheat futures were 4 to 5 cents in the green. KC Cotton Posts Gains, as USDA Reports Improved Conditions After the Close -Cotton futures closed the Monday session with gains of 18 points across the front months. The outside markets were supportive factors, as the US Cattle Push Higher on Monday -Live cattle futures posted mixed trade, with October down 17 cents, and other contracts up 12 o 60 cents on Monday.
